Lauren Elinor Williams:

Born May 7th, 2012 at 12:10 pm weighing 9 lbs. 2.5oz.

I have experienced many joys in my life, I am married to an amazing man who is my best friend and soulmate, together we have two incredible little boys, Callum who is almost 7 and Ewan who is 4 and a half.  I have a wonderful family and the best friends a woman could ask for.  I thought I had it all, until I was honoured with the name of Auntie Amber.  WOW!  Talk about an emotional wave that completely overtook me.  I cannot even begin to tell you how blessed I feel to be called Aunt, how blessed I feel to hold this precious little baby in my arms and know that one day she will call me Dauntie Damber, or Bamber or a million other names that will all funnel down to mean the same thing, Aunt.

When I was growing up I didn’t have any direct aunts or uncles as my Mom’s brother passed away when he was quite young.  I had friends of my Mom’s who filled the void but they came and went and onward I grew.  We have friends who take on a similar role to our children but my children are very blessed to have two wonderful uncles and three fantastic aunts, two of these being Lauren’s incredible parents, Abe and Karen.   We are also very blessed that Karen and Abe are a 2 minute bike ride away and they are very involved in our kids lives.  I have watched their relationship grow with my children and I have seen their love grow deeper and deeper for my boys.  They are fantastic role models for Josh and I as we take on our new found and truly honoured role of Aunt and Uncle.  Thank you Uncle Baboo and Aunt Baby for the honour that you have blessed us with and I vow to you today to be the best Aunt ever, Laurie, Vanessa and Val, you can join me on that!  A role I (we) will take very seriously. We love you dearly and are so elated to welcome Lauren to the family!

These pictures were photographed at Karen and Abe’s house on Mother’s Day, please enjoy a snippit of my beautiful niece, Lauren Elinor Williams, my little bean!

Check out the fuzz on Lauren’s ears!  It is so unbelievably cute!

We see a thumb sucker in our future, she is already rooting for her thumb but her wrist will have to do for now.  She is definitely a Williams!

Arbie, their chocolate lab discovered something was growing in the garden!

Congratulations Karen and Abe!  We are so happy for you and wish you nothing but the best and perhaps a bit of sleep, but you have your whole lives for that!!!
